In the hospice
We specialise in helping you and your loved ones to get on top of difficult symptoms, deal with any physical pain and reduce emotional distress.
In the home
We understand that not all patients wish to come into the Hospice to be cared for hence the valuable service that our Hospice at Home Team can offer to you should you choose to remain at home, in your own surroundings.
Patient and family support
This page provides you and your family with information to address any immediate questions you may have about being admitted to Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity is funding the expansion of the Day Hospice service. During 2017 the service will be expanded from 2 to 5 days a week. The charity will provide the funding for a team consisting of a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, as well as Nursing and Care Staff.
Emotional & spiritual care
Coping with a life limiting illness is a huge challenge for patients, friends and family, including children. The Patient and Family Liaison Worker is able to offer practical and emotional support including help with planning for your care following discharge from the Hospice.
The purpose of this page is to provide information for Health Care Professionals on referring patients to the Hospice
